Yeah for date night
Eric and I have recently realized that we have not gone to a theater to see a movie since Gabe was born. So, Gabe stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa last night and we got to do all the stuff we never get to do anymore. We met them at Eric's cousin's wedding and left Gabe early to go see a movie. The wedding was exciting because we got lost on the way and ended up in dowtown Seattle. We somehow found our way through detours and parade routes though and we weren't late! We saw I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry. There were some really funny parts but towards the end the whole gay thing was starting to get old. It just seemed like it was the same joke through the whole thing. It was still funny though. It's classic Adam Sandler humor so if you don't like him then, it's not for you. Then we went and ate at Panera!! yeahh! This was my favorite place in IA and they just opened up one near us. I was so excited when I heard but we haven't had a chance to go. Luckily, it's right by the theater. One of our favorite dates to go on before having Gabe was to go to Borders, drink some coffee and look at books and magazines. It's cheap and nice to talk about our interests. Well, you can imagine how tough this is with a toddler. So, that is what we did after eating. It was such a nice evening. I was so tired by the end of it. It was a long day. But, it was so good for Eric and I to have that time. Usually when Gabe stays the night with Eric's parents it is because we have to work and need them to watch him. We don't really get time to have fun together. Probably the best part of all was not getting up at 5 am. ha ha and it was my morning too! Now we gotta go get our little guy. I already miss him, but I know how much he loves Grandma and Grandpa's.

That is awesome, I so envy you guys, you don't know how long it has been for me and Tony. But that is one of the downfalls of having a baby who wants to nurse still when she goes to bed and also of living in the middle of nowhere. Sorry just had to vent a little bit. I am glad that you had a good time and got to sleep in.
How nice! God bless grandma and grandpa. :) I read a Christian review of Chuck and Larry and he said it was anti-Christian and that it was just promoting the homosexual agenda. What did you think? I saw on his website he is shooting 50 First Kisses, must be a sequal!
Well, it was against Christians that sit outside homosexual events and picket and yell derogatory comments at them. I guess that didn't bother me because I don't agree with that anyway. That's funny because I read a review in People and it said how offensive it was to Homosexuals. It's Adam Sandler, it's crude and is going to offend someone.
I love date night. Jon and I are planning one for next Friday so we can go see "Bourne Ultimatum." I love these movies!!
But, I need to figure out how to get the kids farmed out for overnights so we can sleep in. :)
I like the Bourne movies too! I need to go back and watch the second one though so I can remember everything and where it left off. I bet they make so much money from people like me watching the videos.
