I wish I had some excuse for not writing for so long, but I don't. The first part of the week Eric took a couple of days off to work on the kitchen. We didn't get nearly enough done. The paint that we are using for the cabinets is oil based and takes forever to dry and everything needs two coats. Plus, Gabe won't let us just work without screaming and wanting to get into the paint so only one of us can work at a time while the other plays with him. We also bought a few gallons of paint to change the color of our kitchen and living room. Of course we got it home and hate it. Both Gabe and I have had a cold too so I haven't had much energy. Sorry.
I also wish I had something exciting to say, but, again, I don't. The camp has been taken over by gnats! I guess it happens sometimes at the end of blackberry season. They are all over. Because we had all the doors open when we were painting, they are now in my house. I know they will eventually go away, but it is driving me insane. I wish they would die already! O.k. now Eric is making fun of me for what I am writing about. He said there are some ants outside I could write about too.

mmm blackberries. You are too cute. I haven't had the motivation to write either. My West Nile test came back negative, so they still don't know what's wrong with me. Last Sunday night I had the elders anoint me with oil and pray for me and the pain in my side went away - praise the Lord! But I still had the episodes of feeling crummy this week. I'm preaching tomorrow so pray for me. I need to go work on my sermon.
Ya, cheri. I've noticed the not writing. So you are still feeling sick? What all is wrong?
Hey, gnats ARE annoying. I have fruit flies and for the life of me I can't figure out where they are coming from. UGH!!
Cheri, we will be praying for you as well. I am sorry you are sick.
Jen
Thanks, Jenn. I appreciate the prayers.
I wake up in the morning feeling fine. Then around noon I start feeling achy and tired, so I take tylenol and it usually helps. As soon as it wears off I feel crummy again. I got a new thermometer, so I took my temp today when I started feeling icky and it was 97.7. So I guess I'm not running a fever, which is a good thing.
I'm posting my sermon on my blog...
We went to my in-laws this weekend and they are having the same problem so it made me feel better. I've been cleaning as much as possible but they still linger. Must just be that time of year. All the different fruits/veggies in the ground are starting to go bad. That's my guess at least.
